John and Mallary – Woodwinds, Branford, CT

Weddings

John and Mallary are such an awesome couple. I was so happy to be able to shoot their wedding. They were so much fun and so lovely and easy going. Their wedding was one of the hottest days of the summer and it was definitely a struggle to do the portraits and family shoots with the sun blaring down around 96 degrees. Poor John was sweating through his suit for a few photos. I think it was worth it at the end of the day though.

I decided as the first wedding post on the new site, I wanted to share some of my favorites of these two. I could have shared another 50 photos easily, they photographed so well together, but I did not want to overload you on the first post on our site. I hope you enjoy a few from their special day.

I can't be blamed if you did not show up for work tomorrow because you spent all night looking at their photos, so I had to cut them ...

From start to finish, everything went perfectly, and couldn't have been more beautiful! I normally would say more here, but I really can't. When something is so perfect, you just have to admit it, and stop trying to come up with words to describe it! I hope you enjoy! A huge thanks to everyone who made it possible! Andrew and Kellys – Rustic Fall Wedding at Crystal Peak
We rushed outside when there was a break in the rain. As everyone got situated outside, the skies opened back up. It could not have been more perfect if we planned it. While we were ready to just sit in the rain, it was officially called to relocate back inside. A common theme that every couple seems to give as advice is "things aren't always going to go your way, but at the end of you day you marry the person you love". And their wedding was no exception. The threat of rain loomed all day, and it held out until everyone was dressed and ready to take photos outside. While the outdoor ceremony was rained out, the love still flowed just as happ ...
