As I am sure many of you have guessed, 2015 has been so busy, I have yet to even update my website. With the snow delaying EVERYTHING (except newborns) every session kept pushing and pushing until things cleared up. So now I am here. With dozens of things to post, and never enough time to post them in the heat of wedding season. So I decided to start here with Jon and Lindsey. While they are neither the oldest, or most recent shoot, I wanted to get them up quickly and share with you all as my first of many spring/summer updates for 2015. The next few weeks have plenty in store as far as updates, from newborns to engagements, to weddings.
Now, on to the show! I grew up with Jon and Lindsey and could not have been happier when they asked me to photograph their wedding! From the moment we spoke ideas were flowing. Of course the engagement shoot had me excited. See Jon is a third generation Herzig. That means that lovely staple of the holidays in Durham, cutting your own Christmas tree, was to be the backdrop for this amazing shoot. And you may or may not notice quite a few tractor shots here. I love all forms of old machinery (I am a huge train guy myself) but anything that is mechanical fascinates me! So I fell in love with this tractor. And come to find out, it was purchased by Jons grandfather, when his father was born. So not only did it make a wonderful element to the photographs, it really meant something special in each one. We may be a year out, but I cannot wait to be sharing wedding photos from these two with you! Enjoy!
