Jono and Hayeons Wickham Park Wedding

Weddings

I met Jono and Hayeon last year at Jonos Brothers wedding. Let me tell you, the Pilattis know how to throw and awesome wedding, and my second Pilatti wedding was no let down. Jono and Hayeon are an amazing couple, so amazing in fact they had 2 Weddings! One here at Wickham Park and a second with all of Nicks family flying around the world to join them! The most memorable moment for these two of their day was setting eyes on each other for the first time. With the scenic backdrop of Hartford behind Jono and the lovely gardens of Wickham Park behind Hayeon, I can’t blame them! The rain held out just long enough for a perfect ceremony, and when the showers rolled in, we of course had to take advantage with some night shots.

Their first dance should not be left out either! We all got ‘Rick-Rolled’ as they danced to Never Gonna Give you up by Rick Astley, but things only got more exciting when they added a second song to the first dance, finishing it off with Back That Ass Up by Juvenile. I mean really, how awesome are these two.

Their Rustic Log Cabin themed wedding really came together with some truly great vendors and lots of hard work put in by these two! And knowing how things have gone so far, I can happily say, I can’t wait to continue to be a part of the amazing Pilatti Family! See you guys when Jackie gets married!

Mike and Melissa Sottile at The Waterview
Mike and Melissa reached out to me to do their engagement shoot and wedding last year. We caught the very last autumn leaves left on the trees on an early morning. It was a fun shoot then, and it was awesome meeting these two, and becoming a part of their lives for forever. This wedding went straight to my heart. Watching Mike choke up during his vows, and Melissa's joy and laughter throughout the ceremony. Sometimes you just know when you are a part of something special. And this was one of those special ones... I want to say thank you Mike for his service. I remember during his best man's speech, everyone hooted and hollered for Mike feeli ...

Doro and Gretchen – A Spiritual New York Wedding
The last rain drops had fallen just a few hours before Gretchen and Doro's wedding. Quite literally, the atmosphere was approving their plans for their outdoor ceremony in Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. While things were a bit wet, it absolutely lent itself well to their wedding full of love and positive energy. Where to begin... I really couldn't narrow down photos for this post. I have a whole log of photos that I wanted to share. Unfortunately, you might be here for a month scrolling through them if I did that! I can't be blamed if you did not show up for work tomorrow because you spent all night looking at their photos, so I had to cut them ...

The Wedding of Steve and Karen Holcomb
When I met Steve and Karen last fall for their engagement shoot, I knew we were gonna have a blast. Seriously, we couldn't stop laughing the whole shoot. Their wedding, was no different. I felt right at home, (I even made it onto Moms fridge!). There's nothing more important to me, than being a part of someones wedding, as opposed to being a worker at a wedding. I think we definitely accomplished that this time. With a beautiful day, and a gorgeous location, I think the day could not have been any more perfect. Now as I began to upload these photos, I relived it all again. Took a lot of tough decision making to choose which ones to share beca ...
