Well, I mean really, how come every Wedding this year has left me speechless? Like really? Another perfect Wedding. How do I get so lucky doing what I love with amazing people!
Okay, so whats better than an amazing Bride and Groom? Two Amazing Brides! Double the beautiful details! And to top it off, the most infectious laughter. I mean really, I was shooting on a 200mm lens from far away, and I hear one laugh, and another laugh, and all I could do was laugh too! Their entire day was no different, smiles across the board!
I LOVE Durham, CT. I love all of my people from Durham. Durham was quite an amazing place where in the 1990's families just stayed there. Everyone knew everyone in one way or another. It makes shooting any wedding from anyone from Durham special. Nate and Alicia definitely did not disappoint! From start to finish, their day was unique, beautiful, and thoroughly planned. They planned an Autumn Rustic Country wedding on the River, and they nailed it on the head. I could say much more, but really, I think only pictures can accurately reflect how amazing this day was.

I always struggle picking the best photos to tell the story of someones day on the blog. And Jim and Jeanette is no exception. There really are just so many photos I love of their amazing day. The biggest surprise of Luke and Karas big day was "A surprise rainstorm during dinner. We were just about to start eating the main course when wind blew in the tent knocking glasses off tables and swinging the chandeliers." That rainstorm, led to one of my favorite images! I would like to thank the quick passing storm for giving us a beautiful double rainbow! It really added to an already extra special day.
I hadn't met Kristin and Alicia prior to their engagement shoot as they live quite a distance away, and our schedules never seemed to line up. When the time finally came to meet up, we embarked on an engagement shoot, IN OLD STURBRIDGE VILLAGE! Now I hadn't been to the village since I was in middle school, so of course I was super excited to get the chance to go back! And boy did it pay off, such a great grounds for a shoot! Now enough about how much fun I had, lets talk about how much fun Kristin and Alicia are. You may notice that many of the photos you will see below, are photos of them laughing. I couldn't tell you how much fun and love I was able to be a part of for our shoot. There are a ton of photos looking up their noses cause they are leaning back laughing so hard. I've got to say, I am truly lucky to be able to be shooting their wedding.

Jim and Jeanette reached out to me after they saw some photos of a co-worker, that I had taken for their wedding. I could not be happier to be able to shoot these two next year at their wedding! These two were naturals, always smiling! I wish I could fast forward to their wedding day cause I know it is going to be a great one!

Jody and Jamie reached out to me earlier this summer. We had met through a common hobby, off roading. This little fact made shooting their wedding even more fun. As I was taking pictures, a diesel truck whistled by, and I watched Jodys eyes look away from the camera and follow the truck down the street. Of course I had to laugh... and call him out on it! We spent some time in a beautiful park nearby their lovely country club wedding. We even did something a little different and ended up do a "step and repeat" style set up at the end of the night to capture some great shots of the guests as they were heading home. It really could not have been a more enjoyable day! It was so much fun shooting you too! Nothing but laughs all day long, and thats how you know you are shooting a perfect match.
Mike and Melissa reached out to me to do their engagement shoot and wedding last year. We caught the very last autumn leaves left on the trees on an early morning. It was a fun shoot then, and it was awesome meeting these two, and becoming a part of their lives for forever. This wedding went straight to my heart. Watching Mike choke up during his vows, and Melissa's joy and laughter throughout the ceremony. Sometimes you just know when you are a part of something special. And this was one of those special ones...
I want to say thank you Mike for his service. I remember during his best man's speech, everyone hooted and hollered for Mike feeling blessed to have him safely home and a part of their lives. It was such a touching moment. Thank you Mike for all you gave, and all you have done for our country!
I was lucky enough to shoot the wedding of Kyle and Cara Kilroy. For those of you who don't know. Kyle has been my friend since I was all of 3 years old. This wedding was heartwarming and beautiful. When I watched Kyle shed some tears as his beautiful bride walked down the aisle, I had to do everything I could to stop myself from doing the same. Nothing makes me happier, than seeing one of my oldest friends this happy. When Kyle and Cara first approached me to shoot their wedding, I was hesitant, I was worried my feelings would get in the way, wanting nothing more than to share their special day with them. The more I thought about it, the more I realized there was no way I could possibly say no to the opportunity to capture their memories and forever be remembered by the images I created for them. Kyles tears wasn't the end of it, watching his best men choke up giving their speeches. His best men were his 2 brothers, whom I have the pleasure of being friends with as well. It was the most beautiful thing to see how much love was around this beautiful couple. From start to finish there was absolutely endless love. Seriously, Kyle and Cara, I love you guys so much, and I am so happy to have shot your wedding, and been there with you. I wish you both the best, because you two, and your families, and all of our friends truly touched my heart in a special way during your wedding.
Now the toughest part, figuring out which photos to share! I mean it is seriously the toughest part of every wedding. And I just had to say, enjoy these because its been 3 hours I have been choosing photos and theres too many great shots! It would take all night to pick them all! I hope I can shed a little light on the love and happiness with the preview of their images. Enjoy!
