Love was definitely in the air when the rain passed by and gave these two the garden ceremony they dreamed of! And the love didn't just stop there!

What more can I say, than this was the perfect wedding. Everything went off without a hitch and we couldn't have been luckier to have been there to capture it!

The last rain drops had fallen just a few hours before Gretchen and Doro's wedding. Quite literally, the atmosphere was approving their plans for their outdoor ceremony in Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. While things were a bit wet, it absolutely lent itself well to their wedding full of love and positive energy.

Well, I mean really, how come every Wedding this year has left me speechless? Like really? Another perfect Wedding. How do I get so lucky doing what I love with amazing people!

Okay, so whats better than an amazing Bride and Groom? Two Amazing Brides! Double the beautiful details! And to top it off, the most infectious laughter. I mean really, I was shooting on a 200mm lens from far away, and I hear one laugh, and another laugh, and all I could do was laugh too! Their entire day was no different, smiles across the board!

I LOVE Durham, CT. I love all of my people from Durham. Durham was quite an amazing place where in the 1990's families just stayed there. Everyone knew everyone in one way or another. It makes shooting any wedding from anyone from Durham special. Nate and Alicia definitely did not disappoint! From start to finish, their day was unique, beautiful, and thoroughly planned. They planned an Autumn Rustic Country wedding on the River, and they nailed it on the head.  I could say much more, but really, I think only pictures can accurately reflect how amazing this day was.

We rushed outside when there was a break in the rain. As everyone got situated outside, the skies opened back up. It could not have been more perfect if we planned it. While we were ready to just sit in the rain, it was officially called to relocate back inside. A common theme that every couple seems to give as advice is "things aren't always going to go your way, but at the end of you day you marry the person you love". And their wedding was no exception. The threat of rain loomed all day, and it held out until everyone was dressed and ready to take photos outside. While the outdoor ceremony was rained out, the love still flowed just as happily inside (well with the exception of Blake who was not interested in all the attention).

While the rain may have dampened us, it didn't dampen the spirits inside. The indoor ceremony got underway a little late, but it was worth the wait! While short time, always hurts us, we managed to come out with some really beautiful photos when it was all said and done!

If you happened to watch the news in Connecticut in October, there is a pretty good chance you might have seen one of the more heartwarming moments of the evening. Andrew sang and absolutely lovely rendition of a Dustin Lynch song for Kelly and her Father who had lost their Mother and Wife earlier this year.

It was a night full of amazing people, celebrating an amazing couple, and we were honored to be a part of it.
