Well, I mean really, how come every Wedding this year has left me speechless? Like really? Another perfect Wedding. How do I get so lucky doing what I love with amazing people!
I always struggle picking the best photos to tell the story of someones day on the blog. And Jim and Jeanette is no exception. There really are just so many photos I love of their amazing day. From start to finish, everything went perfectly, and couldn't have been more beautiful! I normally would say more here, but I really can't. Jim and Jeanette reached out to me after they saw some photos of a co-worker, that I had taken for their wedding. I could not be happier to be able to shoot these two next year at their wedding! Mike and Melissa reached out to me to do their engagement shoot and wedding last year. We caught the very last autumn leaves left on the trees on an early morning. It was a fun shoot then, and it was awesome meeting these two, and becoming a part of their lives for forever. This wedding went straight to my heart. Watching Mike choke up during his vows, and Melissa's joy and laughter throughout the ceremony. Sometimes you just know when you are a part of something special. And this was one of those special ones...
I want to say thank you Mike for his service. I remember during his best man's speech, everyone hooted and hollered for Mike feeling blessed to have him safely home and a part of their lives. It was such a touching moment. Thank you Mike for all you gave, and all you have done for our country!
John and Mallary are such an awesome couple. I was so happy to be able to shoot their wedding. They were so much fun and so lovely and easy going. Their wedding was one of the hottest days of the summer and it was definitely a struggle to do the portraits and family shoots with the sun blaring down around 96 degrees. Poor John was sweating through his suit for a few photos. I think it was worth it at the end of the day though.
I decided as the first wedding post on the new site, I wanted to share some of my favorites of these two. I could have shared another 50 photos easily, they photographed so well together, but I did not want to overload you on the first post on our site. I hope you enjoy a few from their special day.
