Back in December, I was honored when I was approached by The Connecticut Bride magazine for use of a photo taken at The Lake of Isles of Jon and Sarah Zielinski. Its always exciting to be able to see some
Nick and Holly, what can I say, it rained all morning on your wedding day, and then the sun opened up and it was a perfect day! I met Nick and Holly in the fall of 2013 for their engagement shoot, and it was an instant match. We definitely had a great time at that shoot, and their wedding was even better. A great group of people came together to celebrate the marriage of a perfect couple. My favorite part of it all, is that it won't end here, I know for years to come we will be in touch, including when we get Nick in his jeep to splash some mud on your dress in our "trash the dress" shoot! I wish I had more words to share, but for some reason I keep typing, Nick and Holly are AMAZING!

I hadn't met Kristin and Alicia prior to their engagement shoot as they live quite a distance away, and our schedules never seemed to line up. When the time finally came to meet up, we embarked on an engagement shoot, IN OLD STURBRIDGE VILLAGE! Now I hadn't been to the village since I was in middle school, so of course I was super excited to get the chance to go back! And boy did it pay off, such a great grounds for a shoot! Now enough about how much fun I had, lets talk about how much fun Kristin and Alicia are. You may notice that many of the photos you will see below, are photos of them laughing. I couldn't tell you how much fun and love I was able to be a part of for our shoot. There are a ton of photos looking up their noses cause they are leaning back laughing so hard. I've got to say, I am truly lucky to be able to be shooting their wedding.

Greg and Kelly helped seal up what is going to be a very busy October 2015. These two are naturals! Seriously, I didn't even have to tell them what to do, they just nailed it everytime! I know their wedding is going to make for an amazing one! I just wish I could fast forward to October because it is full of amazing couples like this one!
I made a long trip down to Mystic, Connecticut for the engagement shoot of Luke and Kara. It was well worth the trip, not only for these beautiful photos, but for the laughs! My goodness these two perfect for each other! Sometimes, watching a couple, you just know. And the fact that there are plenty of photos with Luke having a goofy face and Kara laughing, only goes to prove it. I mean, I even have a photo of Luke flexing some muscles shortly after I asked him for a slightly more masculine stance. Seriously, I cannot wait for your wedding! We are going to have a blast!
Jim and Jeanette reached out to me after they saw some photos of a co-worker, that I had taken for their wedding. I could not be happier to be able to shoot these two next year at their wedding! These two were naturals, always smiling! I wish I could fast forward to their wedding day cause I know it is going to be a great one!

I had a wonderful time shooting Andrew and Kelly. We did their engagement shoot alongside a family shoot. It was early fall and it was gorgeous! I was so happy to have been able to shoot them, and cannot wait to shoot their wedding next year.
Jody and Jamie reached out to me earlier this summer. We had met through a common hobby, off roading. This little fact made shooting their wedding even more fun. As I was taking pictures, a diesel truck whistled by, and I watched Jodys eyes look away from the camera and follow the truck down the street. Of course I had to laugh... and call him out on it! We spent some time in a beautiful park nearby their lovely country club wedding. We even did something a little different and ended up do a "step and repeat" style set up at the end of the night to capture some great shots of the guests as they were heading home. It really could not have been a more enjoyable day! It was so much fun shooting you too! Nothing but laughs all day long, and thats how you know you are shooting a perfect match.
Mike and Melissa reached out to me to do their engagement shoot and wedding last year. We caught the very last autumn leaves left on the trees on an early morning. It was a fun shoot then, and it was awesome meeting these two, and becoming a part of their lives for forever. This wedding went straight to my heart. Watching Mike choke up during his vows, and Melissa's joy and laughter throughout the ceremony. Sometimes you just know when you are a part of something special. And this was one of those special ones...
I want to say thank you Mike for his service. I remember during his best man's speech, everyone hooted and hollered for Mike feeling blessed to have him safely home and a part of their lives. It was such a touching moment. Thank you Mike for all you gave, and all you have done for our country!
Jon and Sarah, you guys are amazing! I loved shooting your engagement, and I loved shooting your wedding. I hope you guys renew your vows soon so I can shoot that too! Its always a pleasure photographing this amazing couple and I am so pleased to have been a part of your special day. I hope to share many more special moments with you guys in the future!
